Alanya Transfer: Gazipasa or Antalya Airport?

For travellers heading to Alanya and its surroundings (Mahmutlar, Kargıcak, Avsallar, Konaklı), there are two airport options: Gazipasa-Alanya (GZP) and Antalya (AYT). Choosing the right terminal has a real impact on journey time and cost.

Gazipasa Airport (GZP)

Gazipasa is only about 40 km from Alanya; the transfer takes around 45 minutes. If you are heading towards Alanya, Mahmutlar and Kargıcak, it is the most practical choice. As a smaller airport, the terminal exit is also fast.

Antalya Airport (AYT)

Antalya Airport is about 125 km from Alanya, and the transfer takes around 2 hours. Flight options are far wider, so AYT can make sense when you cannot find a suitable flight. If you are also staying in Side or Manavgat, AYT is advantageous.

Which Should You Choose?

If you are staying only in the Alanya area and a suitable flight exists, Gazipasa is best; for wider flight flexibility or a multi-area plan, Antalya makes sense.
